Real Madrid chief Pedja: Schuster improving with media

Real Madrid sports chief Pedja Mijatovic has played down coach Bernd Schuster's spat with Real Mallorca rival Gregorio Manzano and insists he is getting better at handling his media conferences.
                         

      
Manzano told Schuster to "be more humble" after Wednesday night's Copa del Rey victory following an exchange of words at the end of the game, but Mijatovic says: "They spoke among themselves and that's how it should be, if you have something to say to someone, you should do so in person, so not to create controversy in the media.
"They are two professionals who are respected, surely everything was clarified on Wednesday night."
On Schuster's testy media conferences, Mijatovic insists: "There's nothing wrong, often in the press conferences there are questions that are totally away from the subject at hand, mainly after games that have been lost and it is not easy to maintain a smile.
"He has improved much in this aspect and he will improve more. Until now, he has been in charge of teams of little importance, but Real Madrid is from easy and I am sure that sooner or later he will have a good relationship with the press."
