Palermo midfielder Bosko Jankovic has revealed his ‘joy’ at being linked with a summer move to Juventus.
The 24-year-old moved to Sicily last summer after an impressive spell with Spanish club RCD Mallorca, for whom he scored 9 goals in 28 games.
The Serbia international’s performances in La Liga placed him firmly on the radar of some of Europe’s superpowers, including the likes of Barcelona, Valencia and Chelsea.
Now Juventus are keen to secure his services, and Jankovic admits he is thrilled at the possibility of joining the Bianconeri and following in the footsteps of Czech legend Pavel Nedved.
"A club like Juventus is a life's goal for any player on earth," said the former Red Star Belgrade winger. "This is the best known and loved club on the five continents and also very loved in my city, Belgrade and throughout Serbia.
"There has been talk recently about my possible transfer to Turin and I learned about this with great joy. It's been great also to hear that I would replace Pavel Nedved one day there."
