EURO MATCHES: MATERAZZI 50, ZANETTI 99

EURO MATCHES: MATERAZZI 50, ZANETTI 99

Marco Materazzi collected his 50th European appearance in last night's victory over Spartak to bring his total of matches for Inter to 174. Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Javier Zanetti are close to reaching milestones in European cup competitions, with 49 and 99 appearances respectively after Tuesday's game at the Luzhniki Stadium. The Inter captain is now 18 games short of equalling Giuseppe Bergomi's club record of 117 appearances in international competitions, while Ivan Cordoba, who made his 70th appearance in Moscow last night, is one away from reaching Walter Zenga (71) and two away from Giacinto Facchetti and Giuseppe Baresi (73 each).

Luis Figo, who turns 34 on Saturday, played his 93rd Champions League match in Tuesday's win at Spartak to collect his 132nd European appearance. Figo, winner of the European Football of the Year award in 2000, is second in the all time list of most present players in European competitions.

After his brace against Spartak at the Meazza, Julio Ricardo Cruz scored again in Moscow to notch his 10th European goal for Inter, and 45th in 118 games for the club. Inter's victory against the Russians was their first away win in Europe since the 1-0 win at Artmedia Bratislava in September 2005. Tuesday's victory was also the first time Spartak had lost at home in a European competition since February 2004.

恭喜马特拉吉的第50场,扎内蒂的第99场欧赛胜利
