[拉齐奥足球新闻]利维拉尼表达自己对拉齐奥的爱
Fabio Liverani has given the clearest indication yet that he wants to renew his contract with Lazio. "I feel like this is my shirt and my club," he said.
Liverani scored the winning goal in his side’s 3-2 away win at Empoli on Sunday and is clearly enjoying life at the Roman club.
"I feel like this is my shirt and my club," he told Radio Spazio Aperto on Monday. "At the moment I can feel the trust of my teammates and it makes me feel more responsible."
The experienced midfielder has yet to renew his contract, which expires at the end of the season, but it seems that the 29-year-old is eager to extend his stay at the Stadio Olimpico.
"It’s not a problem," he added. "I’m interested in the faith shown in me by the technical staff.
"I’m in no hurry, I’m just thinking about playing, but I’d say I’m 70 per cent likely to stay and 30 per cent likely not to."
Lazio’s free-kick specialist clearly prefers to live for the moment and the same can be said for his side’s approach to the season ahead.
"From now until Christmas we have three tough clashes (against Siena, Livorno and Lecce) and an impossible game (against Juventus). We must live day to day.
"We are not yet mature enough as a team to make long-term plans, but if we play with the same ruthlessness we showed yesterday then we’ll be able to reap some satisfying rewards."
