An easy game for Lazio against Cittadella. It finished 2-0 at Olimpico with goals by Simone Inzaghi and Pandev. After the game Delio Rossi commented the result satisfied: "It was important not to give any goals away, anyways we handled well the game. It's not easy to play against teams that are playing the game of their lives, but I think one could do better". Some players practically made their first appearance this season: "It was the first time I saw many of them play, for example Mudingayi -admits Rossi- it wasn't easy for them either to find the right motivation, but all summed up they did well".
