[拉齐奥足球新闻]塞萨尔即将离开拉齐奥
Cesar Aparecido has precipitated a January move to Inter by publicly insulting Lazio President Claudio Lotito for a “ludicrous” renewal offer.
The Brazilian’s contract expires at the end of this season and his agent Gilmar Rinaldi confirmed that he would not be penning a new deal. President Lotito claimed this was because he had already reached an agreement with Inter, but now Cesar has hit back.
“Nobody should dare say these things about me,” snapped the winger on a Rome radio station. “Lotito has made fun of me by stretching out contract negotiations for 18 months without reaching a conclusion. I went to talk to the club after the President said he wanted to keep me, but each time kept putting back the official discussions by six months. This is the first time we’ve really talked about my situation.”
Cesar will be a free agent in the summer, so many expect the Biancocelesti to cash in by completing a January sale to Inter. He would be reunited with former Lazio Coach Roberto Mancini and ex-teammate Dejan Stankovic.
“The proposal Lazio put forward was ludicrous,” he continued. “If this is the best that Lotito can offer me, then thanks for everything and goodbye.”
Although no financial details have been released, the Italian Press maintains that the club offered him a three-year contract worth £586,000 per season.
“What upsets me the most is that some people called me a mercenary who was only out for cash. They clearly don’t know my history with Lazio. My problem here is with a lack of respect and, although it is a shame to leave, there are situations I cannot accept.”
The rapport between Cesar and the Biancocelesti has truly broken down and Coach Delio Rossi made that clear.
“If someone wants to leave, they should come to me and say it out loud,” noted the tactician. “Then we can have a Press Conference and try to make that player happy. I only want men who are motivated and believe in what we’re trying to achieve.”
