[拉齐奥足球新闻]Langella渴望加入拉齐奥
Cagliari winger Antonio Langella is ready to join Lazio if the capital club follow up their initial interest in him.
The Italian international has been associated with a January move to the Biancocelesti given the likely departure of captain Aparecido Cesar to Inter.
Now the player’s agent has confirmed that a Stadio Olimpico switch would be welcomed with open arms.
"The player has already agreed to the transfer and I think he is the right man to replace Cesar, who will probably leave," Claudio De Nicola told Radio Radio.
"There will be no problems in negotiations between the clubs even if the final decision will be made by Lazio boss Delio Rossi."
De Nicola conceded that no talks between the two outfits was on the agenda, but that Langella is ready to wait – despite a tempting overseas offer.
"There are no negotiations planned," he added. "However, we are prepared to remain patient until the end of the transfer window.
"The Russian alternative with CSKA Moscow is a good economical one, but Antonio would prefer a top Italian club and Lazio is an ideal opportunity."
De Nicola also dismissed suggestions that his client could join high-flying Fiorentina in January.
"I think they need Cagliari’s Mauro Esposito more than Langella," concluded the representative.
Esposito is set to be sold by the Sardinian club with Palermo also keen on acquiring his services.
