Hart wants Aberdeen stay

Aberdeen fullback Michael Hart hopes to open talks over a new contract.

Hart said: "I have a year left on my contract. I don't have an agent so I suppose I would be the last to know what was going on.
"But I'm really happy at Aberdeen. These are exciting times at the club and we have European football to look forward to.
"The situation wasn't right to speak about things at the end of the season. The fight for third place went right to the wire and I didn't feel there was aright time.
"Had we tied the European place down earlier, I would have gone in to see the manager to find out where I stand for the future.
"If the club come and speak to me before we get back to pre-season then great but I am not going to cry about the situation if they don't. I've been in Aberdeen since I was 15 and feel part of things."
