Portsmouth boss Redknapp unhappy with Stevens media coverage
Portsmouth boss Harry Redknapp has hit out at the media coverage following the release of Lord Stevens' bung probe.
Stevens' report into alleged illegal payments in football was revealed on Friday with several managers being named - including Redknapp.
Redknapp believes the report cleared every manager of any wrong-doing and is stunned and unhappy to find his picture splattered all over the tabloids.
"Why am I always linked to it all?" he told the People Sport.
"There are a couple of big deals involving Chelsea that have been named in the report, but I don't see pictures of Jose Mourinho in the papers.
"This has been a total waste of the Premier League's money and if this is all they can come up with then what a waste of time.
"What has been worthwhile about it? What have they achieved? They admit there has been no wrong-doing?
"I find it strange that there are lot of pictures in the newspapers of me, Sam Allardyce and Graeme Souness.
"In my view, one of the reasons these deals haven't been cleared is because not all the agents have co-operated - it has nothing to do with the managers."
