Jewell: I didn't quit Wigan over pressure

Paul Jewell has denied claims by Wigan chairman Dave Whelan that he resigned due to the pressure of top-flight football.
Whelan claimed pressure was one of the reasons behind Jewell's decision to walk away, however, this has been dispelled.
"I couldn't believe what he said," Jewell continued. "There were no pressure problems. My record speaks for itself in pressure situations."
